The 2023 CIVGP & AUTO/MOTO SHOW WAS A RESOUNDING SUCCESS!
STAY TUNED FOR CONFIRMATION OF THE 2024 DATES.
The Coatesville Invitational Vintage Grand Prix is a unique event where spectators experience the sights and sounds of historically significant cars and motorcycles traversing a 2 mile course set throughout the city streets of Coatesville. The CIVGP is the only exhibition event of this type on the East Coast!
The weekend kicks off on the evening of Thursday September 14th, 2023 with the return of the Grand PRIXview Party. Come see a display of vintage vehicles, meet the drivers, and mingle with CIVGP sponsors and supporters under the stars at historic Brooklawn, located among the rolling hills of Unionville, just 15 minutes from downtown Coatesville.
For 2023, we also welcome back the popular Friday evening Cruise-In event featuring vintage cars, trucks and special interest vehicles. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., drivers and spectators can get an up-close look at a variety of hot rods, classic and restored cars, which can be parked at designated areas along Lincoln Highway, between 1st and 4th avenues. This event is free to spectators and participants, as there is no entry fee or registration; however, all vehicles must be licensed.
The main event begins Saturday morning, September 16th, featuring classic cars and motorcycles, from the early 1900's through the early 80's, following a 2 mile course throughout the city. Local food and beverage vendors, newly opened restaurants, sponsor's VIP area, the Auto/Moto show, beer garden, Kid's Zone and soap box derby all add to the day's entertainment.
Remember, a portion of the event proceeds go to Coatesville’s Parks & Recreation, as well as Quality of Life initiatives. Stay tuned for more details!
